Wild Mercantile opened
its doors in the fall of 2002 in Athens,
Ohio, a college town in the heart of SE Ohio's
Appalachian foothills. Surrounded by
two-thirds of the state's public land, they
have easy access to some of the SE's premier
outdoor destinations such
as Seneca Rocks, Monongahela
National Forest, New River Gorge, Red River
Gorge, and the Gauley, New, and Yughiogheny
Rivers.
Wild Mercantile was established with a commitment
