About Us
|
Leafy Oaks Campground of Clyde offers the best of both worlds - its 60 wooded acres are nestled within the quiet, scenic countryside, but it's just minutes away from the convenience of the Interstate.
Centrally located between Toledo & Cleveland and just a half hour from Cedar Point, there's always something worth doing (or not doing!) at Leafy Oaks. We have separate lakes for swimming and fishing, nearly 30 acres of wooded campsites, hiking trails, a huge playground, and a large field for the kids to run.
We offer daily, weekly, and seasonal rates to both RV and tent campers. Amenities include full hookups, electric/water hookups, propane, a laundromat, hot showers & flush toilets, an arcade, and a fully stocked (and licensed) camp store.
A shelter house is also available for general use (and rental), and we now offer cabin and RV rentals with accommodations for up to five (no pets or smoking, please).
Our alphabet of activities includes (but is by no means limited to): Basketball, Beach Parties, Bingo, Car Shows, Card Nights, Children's Games, Classic & Country Music Performances, Cook-offs & Bake-offs, Crafts, DJ's, Glow Stick & Golf Cart Parades, Haunted Woods, Hay Rides, Hobo Dinners, Horseshoe Tournaments, Karaoke, Pancake Breakfasts, Pet Parades, Poker Runs, Pot Luck Dinners, Scavenger Hunts, Shuffleboard, Trick or Treat, Volleyball, Woodland Hikes, and Yard Sales.
Hosts Randy and Joan Faneuff & family of Leafy Oaks Campground invite you to explore their web site for loads of specific events scheduled for the 2008 season. Also visit the Kids' section to see all that's planned for children - toddlers to teens.
