With over 25 years in business as a respected production bird farm, Crawford County's Elk Ridge Game Farm has recently expanded its offering to the general public (as of 2001), providing access to the thrill and challenge of upland bird hunting.

Owners Dennis and Terri Courtad of Bucyrus have expanded the total huntable area to more 400+ acres, and they take tremendous pride in well managed cover of diverse prairie grasses and forage crops, strong birds, and an overall authentic hunting experience.

Hunts are available for pheasant, Hungarian and chukar partridge, and other species by request (as available). Elk Ridge is pleased to offer guided hunts complete with seasoned dogs. However, you are also encouraged to bring your own four-legged companion.

Elk Ridge's picturesque grounds are separated into multiple discrete areas by woodlots and wind breaks, ensuring privacy and promoting safety. An on-site clay range can help hone your accuracy.

After the shoot, relax and unwind in the comfortable, spacious clubhouse. Even stay for lunch while your birds are being cleaned!
