  About Us
Tom and Jennie Stearns founded Clay's Pheasant Ridge to fill a void for hunters looking for upland birding opportunities in Wood County, Ohio. The healthy base of pheasants, chukar partridges, and quail bring hunters to the licensed preserve, but it's the unique cover and consistent shooting that keeps them coming back!

Hunts primarily take place on weekends from October through March, but weekday hunts and sporting clay shooting are available by special reservation.

Dogs and guides are available but not mandatory. Seasonal packages are also offered but the public is always welcome by appointment. Charges based on birds released; no minimum per person.
