| | | Wild Goose w/ Prune & Apple Stuffing | Favorite of Daniel Yipps - Harbor View, Ohio | | Course: | Main Entrée | | Servings: | 4-6 | | Ingredients & Instructions: 1 goose 1 quart bread crumbs 2 cups chopped w\prunes 2 cups peeled and chopped apples Salt Generous grating of fresh nutmeg Apple juice to moisten
Stuff goose with ingredients. Now place the goose on rack in roasting pan. Roast in hot oven at 400° for 20 minutes. Pour off fat and then proceed to baste with your own choice of basting. Reduce heat to very moderate temperature allowing the goose to roast another 20 minutes.
