Oriental Goose
Favorite of Ned & Betty Reiger - Maumee, Ohio
 
Course: Main Entrée
Servings: 4-6

 
Ingredients & Instructions:
1 cup pineapple juice
½ cup soy sauce
2 teaspoons ginger
½ bottle brown gravy sauce
1 stick butter
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1/3 cup cooking sherry
4 tablespoons sugar
1 can mushrooms
Flour to thicken

Marinade goose in Teriyaki sauce for 3 hours. Make sauce for basting. Mix all ingredients in sauce pan and heat to blend. Roast goose at 350° until tender. For sauce to serve with bird, pour drippings off bird, add water, and 1 can of mushrooms, and flour to thicken.
