| | | Trout Cakes w/ Celery Sauce | Favorite of Terry Jules - Gomer, Ohio | | Course: | Main Entrée | | Servings: | 6 | | Ingredients & Instructions: 2 tablespoons butter 1 medium onion, finely chopped 1 small red pepper 1 cup water 1 teaspoon instant chicken bouillon ½ teaspoon red pepper sauce ½ teaspoon freshly ground pepper 1 pound trout 1 teaspoon fresh lemon juice 1 can condense cream of celery soup 2 cups instant potato buds flaked ½ cup seasoned dry bread crumbs 6 tablespoons vegetable oil 12 slices of American cheese ¼ cup evaporated milk
Preheat oven to 350. Combine ingredients with trout and bread crumbs. Pack ingredients together and place on baking sheet. Cook for 15-20 minutes. Serve with celery sauce.
